How do I set up my site to charge sales tax?

Each product in LearningCart can be marked as taxable or not.
For customers with simple tax calculations (eg Charge X percent to users in X state) we can configure the system to generate the calculations based on the rules you supply.

For customers with more complex tax calculation needs we are able to integrate with Avalara (https://www.avalara.com) which provides a service allowing the building out of more complicated tax rules.

Our platform can then connect via webservices to Avalara to lookup the appropriate rates when a user goes to place an order.
